Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a modality that has been utilised for thousands of years. Using thin, single use filiform needles the practitioner stimulates different energetic channels to foster balance and function within the body. In Dr. Kyla's practice the needles are usually retained for 40-45 minutes allowing the body to relax, reset and recharge.
Cupping
Cupping is an adjunct therapy to acupuncture that is most commonly used to improve blood circulation to the tissues in order to treat trauma and pain. Dr. Kyla uses the traditional fire cupping techniques as well as silicone cupping for the more sensitive patients.
