About Dr. Kyla Drever, Dr. TCM, R.Ac.
Dr. Kyla Drever, Dr. TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) has been practicing acupuncture and TCM since her licensure in 2002. She is a graduate of the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver and their 4-year Diploma program which included a 3-month clinical experience in hospitals in China. Her Dr.TCM designation gives her the full scope of practice in both acupuncture and TCM herbs. Since graduating, Dr. Drever has dedicated much of her energy to furthering her education and deepening her understanding of TCM. Most recently, her practice has been heavily influenced by extensive studies involving the 8 Extraordinary Vessels and their use in psycho-emotional and psycho-spiritual disorders and trauma.
In addition to her TCM training, Dr. Drever has studied CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger Institute) and Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute), both of which effectively complement and foster the subtle energy work of acupuncture.
Dr. Drever is in good standing with the regulatory body CCHPBC (College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, formerly the CTCMA) and has been involved with the development and execution of licensing exams for may years via roles of subject matter expert and examiner. She was also the Editorial Team Lead of Medicinal Roots Magazine, Canada’s premier online TCM magazine for practitioners and students, for nearly 10 years.
Dr. Drever runs a general practice and treats a variety of conditions with special clinical interest in acute and chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome, whiplash, anxiety and other psycho-emotional disorders, CNS regulation, treatment and integration of trauma from a TCM perspective, stress and stress induced illness, digestive disorders, sleep disorders, headaches and more.
Dr. Kyla Drever is available for appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays at The Garibaldi Health Clinic, Squamish, BC starting Sept 9, 2024.

The Garibaldi Health Clinic can be found in the Galleries complex on Tantalus Road. There are a few parking spots on either end of the complex, in the back of the complex, and plenty of street parking.
